This afternoon I ditched my mother earth goddess "super wife" role, and hung out with the cool kids next door for a few hours. Although we didn't do anything particualry exciting (hit up two skate parks) I must say the experience was rather thrilling-this coming from someone who does nothing but change diapers, go to school, and work all day everyday...and although I love my life -for I have been so blessed with a gorgeous intelligent son, and a talented husband that I adore to pieces-I found myself liberated with a bottle of beer, free to photograph anything my eyed fancied, without having to worry about "satisfying" any customers, or watching paik (my son) every two seconds in between the shutters.

There was a little boy there who's father couldn't have been a day over 20. He was dirty, had a massave soiled diaper, and a pensive disposition. I couldn't help but think some people's future's are laid out for them before they even know it..

It feels good to be back home now, cozy in my life as a young wife and mother. I must say tho I have an itch to go traveling...mabey europe? till then...
